Dr. Caitlyn Hord is a behavioral scientist with a passion for integrating trauma-informed care into faith-based environments. With years of experience researching individuals and communities impacted by trauma, Dr. Hord specializes in providing psychological consulting to clergy and faith leaders to help them create more compassionate, supportive, and healing environments for those in need.
Drawing on both her research expertise and personal experience, Dr. Hord understands the unique challenges faith leaders face in addressing the emotional, psychological, and spiritual wounds caused by trauma. This experience has driven Dr. Hord to develop an approach utilizing trauma-informed care that empowers clergy to recognize, understand, and respond to trauma with sensitivity and care, fostering healing and resilience within their congregations.

Dr. Hord holds a Ph.D. in Behavioral Science from the University of North Texas with a concentration in Research, Measurement, and Statistics. Her research focuses on trauma, substance use, and pedagogy. Through a blend of psychological expertise and compassionate guidance, Dr. Hord is committed to empowering clergy and faith leaders to build stronger, more resilient communities, transforming how spiritual care is provided in the face of trauma.
